Who are we?
Greetings, and thanks for joining us!
We are Gerald and Stacey – a couple of Canadians who are excited to share their love of scuba diving and travel with you.
In this blog, we will be sharing things like:
- The essential info you need to start and expand your scuba diving career
- Our thoughts on scuba gear and essentials
- The how, where, and, more importantly, WHY of destinations for incredible scuba diving experiences
And now, let us introduce ourselves:
Gerald has been scuba diving since he was 14, which was long ago. He spent summers on Vancouver Island, Canada, scuba diving to his heart’s content, serving icecream, and living on a beach. Those experiences morphed into a commercial diving capacity over time.
He worked at a dive shop assisting with dive charters, gear, and top tending. Over time Gerald became certified at a PADI Rescue Diver level. He remains passionate about life underwater to this day!
Though Stacey has never managed to get herself certified in scuba, she has been a water baby her whole life. She is exploring all the ways to get her certifications and is taking you along on the journey. So maybe a trip to Thailand for her Open Water is in order!!
Stacey is incredibly passionate about beautiful sunsets and sandy beaches and exploring the waves, so you can be sure you will get plenty of that on this blog too.
